Did you know that Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Anna E. Dickinson, and Frederick Douglass all visited Warren County Pennsylvania in the 1870's? The location was Roscoe Hall which was located at the 400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue (or Water Street as it was known back then).

Women's Rights Leader & Suffragist Elizabeth Cady Stanton spoke on November 21st, 1871. "The Coming Girl" was the lecture topic. Elizabeth Cady Stanton's visit encourages other feminists to visit Roscoe Hall including Susan B. Anthony who came to town on December 3rd, 1872 to lecture on "The Bread and Butter Question" with 'strong argument and sharp points'. Anna E. Dickinson also lectured on March 20th, 1872 on "Demagogues and Workingmen". Frederick Douglass appeared December 19, 1871 favorable to Women's Suffrage and Leader in the Abolitionist Movement.
