On June 28th, 1915 'The Savings Bank Corner" in downtown Warren was one of many stops for the Women's Liberty Bell and "Votes For Women" Tour. Among those involved were...Pennsylvania Women's Suffrage Association, "Votes For Women", Miss Louise Hall of Harrisburg (Secretary of Pennsylvania's Women's Suffrage Association), Dr. Mary M. Wolfe of Lewisburg, PA (Secretary of Board of Managers to provide for the establishment of feeble-minded women), Miss Eudora Ramsey (advance agent with the bell).
After previous stops in Kane, Sheffield, and Clarendon, PA...the Women's Liberty Bell made a stop to "Savings Bank Corner" and the bell was on display and speeches were held. After those concluded, those touring with the bell gathered at The Carver House and the bell was store overnight in a nearby garage.
